January 2011

Prompt Four in the Scrapbook Remix class was really about using floral papers, however I simply lifted the design of one of Shimelle's layouts to create this page for the beginning of our 2011 album.

I am definitely enjoying combining lots of patterned papers (& a little washi tape, too, of course).

The combination of reds and patterns makes the snowy scene seem so much warmer :). A lovely opening page ...

I probably wouldn't have chosen these colours for a snowy scene....but they actually work perfectly.

Lovely snowy pics - and as the others have said, the bright colours really 'lift' the page :)

I like your patterned paper combinations. In also looks like the holiday season without actually having it written on the page.

What's that??? Snow in Texas? Love you all bundled up for the weather - looks like you came right out of a Dickens novel.

What a great Christmasy page! I need to get into the Christmas mode here soon, and this is good inspiration.
