December FUN Check-In

As I sit here today, enjoying the final day of 2014 and my year of  FUN, I'm so glad I chose a word to focus on throughout the year. I know that it was the perfect word for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed consciously adding more FUN into my life and simply being more aware of the FUN already in my life. I also know that this word will continue to be a part of my life and that I'll always be more aware of the FUN now that I've taken time to pay more attention to it.

If you've been around my blog this month, you already know that December was filled with FUN - including lots of get-togethers with family and friends, a quick trip to visit my sister and her family, and a relaxing Christmas Day here at home with Robbie and my parents. We watched a ton of Christmas movies and football games throughout the month (Dallas Cowboys are in the playoffs!), played several games (Dominoes, Phase 10, Sorry), and have one of Robbie's new puzzles almost completed on the toy room table. I did some scrapbooking and crafting and worked on my digital workflow throughout the month. We also celebrated our 13th anniversary last weekend with a nice meal out and a day just hanging out and enjoying life.

I'm also glad that I participated in Ali Edward's One Little Word class because it helped me find different ways to stay focused on my word. I completed my FUN notebook by adding in the final reflections card . . .

. . . and my FUN December photo collage.

I have to admit that I'm totally thrilled with my success with my very first One Little Word, and I'll be sharing  my new word and plans for 2015 in my next blog post. If you chose a word for this year, how did it manifest itself in your life throughout the year? Will you be choosing a word for 2015?

It was FUN to watch you embrace your word this year while I was learning some powerful lessons about GRACE. I need to write up my post for my new word too...

I've loved watching how you have made the most of your word this year - I have felt like I have joined in with some of your FUN through your posts! My word for 2014 was MORE and although I didn't blog about it, I found that I did MORE arp through the year - spending more time doing fun things with my family like Harry Potter and Cadbury World; days out with my crafting friend; crafting evenings; more time to read and reading a wider variety of books. I haven't thought of a word for 2015 but am working on it and looking forward to seeing which word you choose and how it plays out for you in 2015.
Wishing you and Robbie a very happy and healthy 2015.

You chose that word wisely and stuck with it - and I enjoyed seeing how much it worked out for you this year. I hope 2015 brings more FUN your way, along with whatever else you two are seeking.
